Houston Texans vs. Tennessee Titans

This was a battle between two divisional rivals. The Texans had their opportunities and were up late. The Tennessee Titans stuck to their game plan by running the ball and feeding the ball to All-Pro running back, Derrick Henry, who rushed for 212 yards. Ryan Tannehill also had an excellent game where he threw for 364 yards. The Titans forced overtime with a late score with 4 seconds left in the game and eventually won it with a Derrick Henry touchdown in overtime. Once again, the Tennessee Titans showed their resilience by winning a close game and remain undefeated and one of the top AFC teams contending for a championship.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Indianapolis Colts

In a game where Joe burrow looked good early, the Bengals rushed out to a huge lead over the colts. However, the Colts were able to answer back by scoring 21 points with Philip Rivers leading the way with 371 passing yards. The Bengals did show some promise but they still are a young team with a young coach and with a young quarterback. Because of their inexperience, they were not able to hold on for the win as they fall on the road to Indianapolis. The Colts move to 4-2, however, their defense is strong. However, in the last few weeks, they have not looked as dominant as they once were. Moving forward, are the Colts a championship-contending team?

Denver Broncos vs. New England Patriots

In a game where Cam Newton returned to play, Drew lock helped to lead the Broncos to an impressive victory over the Patriots on Sunday. Even with Cam Newton returning to the lineup for the Patriots, their offense is not as good as what we thought it was. He is still struggling to find the passing game. The Broncos had a great rushing attack on Sunday, with Philip Lindsay leading the way with 101 yards and Tim Patrick leading all receivers with 101 yards. Because of the offensive attack that the Broncos laid on the Patriots, they were able to defeat the New England Patriots on the road.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Philadelphia Eagles

What could have been a trap game for the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens went into Philadelphia and defeated the Philadelphia eagles. The game was still in doubt late into the fourth quarter and the eagles made it competitive, but in the end, the Ravens were just a little bit too much and end up pulling out the victory 30 to 28. Carson Wentz was a leading passer with 213 yards and Miles Sanders had 118 yards receiving. But, in the end, it just wasn’t enough, as the Baltimore Ravens are still one of the top teams in the AFC and continue to keep on rolling after that embarrassing loss on  Monday night to Kansas City a few weeks ago.

Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh steelers

This was the highlighted matchup game for the AFC this past Sunday. The Cleveland browns traveled to Pittsburgh with a big divisional matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. This game was huge for Cleveland because it would have proven to a lot of pundits that they were for real. But, once again the Browns were overmatched and Baker Mayfield was benched for Case Keenum in the second half. The Pittsburgh Steelers have yet again, found another wide receiver in Chase Claypool, who is looking to be a future star for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Pittsburgh Steelers defense was stifling and behind a strong running attack led by James Conner, who led all rushers with 101 yards. The Pittsburgh Steelers put the Cleveland browns in their place. Moving forward, people should start to take the Pittsburgh Steelers a little bit more serious than they have previously.

Detroit Lions vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

This was a lackluster game. The Detroit Lions came into Jacksonville and handled their business against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jacksonville lost another game to a substandard team in Detroit. Jacksonville has lost their last five games after their stunning win to open the season against the Colts. Lion’s rookie running back, DeAndre Swift, looked good on Sunday as he rushed for 116 yards with two touchdowns. Kenny Golladay had four receptions of 105 yards as he continues to look promising in his young NFL career.

Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets

With the final AFC matchup of Sunday afternoon, the Miami dolphins easily handled the New York Jets, beating them 24 to 0 and improving their record 2 and 3. The dolphins have won their last two games and are primed for a matchup next week against the Los Angeles Rams, at home. The Jets continued to struggle with bad coaching between coaches Adam Gase and Greg Williams. The Jets continue to be the worst NFL team in the league as they Fall to 0 and 6 with no prospects o the near horizon.
