Louis Vuitton and Tiffany Expand In Sports

Written By: Dynmytsports TV

Louis Vuitton and Tiffany have long been known as one of the most luxurious brands in the world for years and years now. Although for the first time ever, they announced that they would create a designer briefcase to carry the Larry O’ Brien trophy, the National Basketball Association championship trophy. This is only fitting as most players wear Louis Vuitton clothing to include shoes, as a way to show off their wealth, even if it is highly overpriced.

This case, surely does have benefits, with its safeguarding of the trophy during its many trips and travels all over the world. The trophy is now also kept by each individual team, and this Louis Vuitton briefcase is an excellent place for the trophy to be stored. Now that Louis Vuitton has created a trophy case for the NBA, it is only a matter of time before players and owners from other sports suggest Louis Vuitton make a luxurious briefcase for them too.

Of course, the Larry O’ Brien trophy is also extremely expensive, so it requires an extremely expensive briefcase to protect it. The trophy is made of sixteen pounds of sterling silver while being coated in twenty-four karat gold afterward. The average NBA trophy costs $13,500, a pretty steep price for a metal trophy. Although Louis Vuitton did not openly state their price for the briefcase, one could imagine that it is also within the tens of thousands of dollars range. Unfortunately, this case was not American made but was made in France instead. Regardless of the cost and location of where the case was made, it is still an amazing gift to earn for winning the NBA Finals. It is certainly no easy journey and represents a gift to complement the trophy as a reward for their extremely hard word. Overall, the Louis Vuitton & Tiffany briefcase is an awesome addition to the Larry O’ Brien trophy.
